Good Morning

Another record price for the S&P 500. Yesterday the broad index rose 0.33% to 4,142 points. The Nasdaq 100 technology index also made itself heard. The index set a new record price at 13,986 points. This amounted to an increase of 1.21%. Much had to do with Tesla's performance. Tesla's share price climbed 8.60%.  Tesla will release numbers on Monday, April 26. The record prices mentioned above are closing prices. Intraday the US indices have been even higher. The oldest index, Dow Jones, kept kicking around yesterday.  In the end, the Dow closed 0.20% negative. The price at the closing bell was 33,677 points. The strongest share in the Dow was Apple stock, with a daily result of 2.43%. Yesterday the US released inflation data. Inflation rose the most in eight years in March. The CPI for March came to 0.6%. The core CPI came to 0.3%. Both dates are higher than expected. The FDA has (temporarily) halted vaccination with the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. At first glance, some vaccinated people seem to have blood clots around the brain. Johnson & Johnson stock fell 1.13% after the announcement. On March 22, a technical analysis was made of the Johnson & Johnson stock.

Galectin Therapeutics Inc. (GALT) stock soared 28.41% to $2.78 in the pre-market trading.

Color Star Technology Co. Ltd. (NASDAQ: CSCW) shares are trading up 8.59% at $1.39 at the time of writing following the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement with Supre NFT for in-depth collaboration in the development of future NFT.

Vascular Biogenics Ltd. (VBLT) grew over 7.87% at $1.92 in pre-market trading today after the declaration of closing of public offering of ordinary shares and pre-funded warrants.

Palantir Technologies Inc. (PLTR), a Software - Infrastructure company, rose about 0.83% at $25.63 in pre-market trading Wednesday. Today, Palantir Technologies (NYSE:PLTR) will be highlighting its capabilities in its Industrials demo at “Double Click” at 11:00 am ET.

Top Upgrades & Downgrades

Raymond James turned bullish on Exxon Mobil Corporation (XOM), upgrading the stock to "Market Perform" from Underperform.

JetBlue Airways Corporation (JBLU) has won the favor of JPMorgan's equity research team. The firm upgraded the shares from Underweight to Overweight and moved their price target to $25.

Southwest Airlines Co. (LUV) received an upgrade from analysts at JPMorgan, who also set their one-year price target on the stock to $66. They changed their rating on LUV to Neutral from Underweight in a recently issued research note.

Earlier Wednesday Baird reduced its rating on AptarGroup Inc. (ATR) stock to Neutral from Outperform and assigned the price target to $140.

Goldman Sachs analysts reduced their investment ratings, saying in research reports covered by the media that its rating for Petroleo Brasileiro S.A. - Petrobras (PBR) has been changed to Neutral from Buy and the new price target is set at $10.30.

Analysts at Citi downgraded T. Rowe Price Group Inc. (TROW)'s stock to Sell from Neutral Wednesday.

Important Earnings

Top US earnings releases scheduled for today include Wells Fargo & Company (NYSE:WFC). It will announce its Mar 2021 financial results. The company is expected to report earnings of $0.7 per share from revenues of $17.5B in the three-month period.

Analysts expect JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM) to report a net income (adjusted) of $3.1 per share, when the company releases its quarterly results shortly. Revenue for the fiscal quarter ended Mar 2021 is predicted to come in at $30.52B.

Infosys Limited (INFY), due to announce earnings before the market opens today, is expected to report earnings of $0.16 per share from revenues of $3.56B recently concluded three-month period.
