Good Morning!
The S&P 500 fell 0.20% to close the day at 4,246 points. Strongest stock from the S&P was Diamond Energy, up more than 5%. The technology index Nasdaq 100 also took a step back after reaching a new record price. Yesterday, the Nasdaq 100 closed the day with a red 0.69%. Strongholder was Micron Technology with an increase of 2.10 %. Last but not least, the Dow Jones Industrial Average. The oldest US stock index lost 0.27%. The Dow has been declining for several days. The index is clearly waiting for a new trigger to start the next move. The oil price continues its upward trend after the release of the US inventory data API. Oil inventories have fallen by more than 22 million barrels since early 2021. This indicates a rising demand as supply has been systematically kept low by OPEC+.
