4 Hot Stocks for Tuesday Trading

Good Morning!

The S&P 500 closed 0.25% lower at 4,163 points yesterday. Technology index Nasdaq 100 closed 0.60% lower at 13,313 points. The best and worst stock from the Nasdaq 100 were Western Digital and Comcast, respectively. While the Dow Jones also lost 0.16%, eventually closing at 34,327 points. The strongest stock in the Dow was Merck & Co, while Walt Disney was the weakest stock.During the night the American indices have risen nicely again. The ES future (S&P 500) is 0.33% higher, while the future on the Nasdaq 100, NQ future, is 0.59% higher. The gradual opening of the economy seems to be fueling risk-on sentiment, and this is not only reflected in the US indices.

Stealth BioTherapeutics Corp (MITO) stock soared 30.25% to $1.55 in the pre-market trading following announcement of an agreement with Morningside Ventures for Morningside to provide $30 million of additional payments to the Company during 2021 under its existing Development Funding Agreement.

Ultralife Corporation (NASDAQ: ULBI) shares are trading up 28.67% at $10.95 at the time of writing following the receipt of IDIQ contract under U.S. Army’s $1.25B conformal wearable battery program.

Top Upgrades & Downgrades

Citi turned bullish on MediaAlpha Inc. (MAX), upgrading the stock to "Buy" and assigning a $45 price target.

Snowflake Inc. (SNOW) has won the favor of Rosenblatt's equity research team. The firm upgraded the shares from Neutral to Buy and moved their price target to $285.

The Gap Inc. (GPS) received an upgrade from analysts at Credit Suisse, who also set their one-year price target on the stock to $23. They changed their rating on GPS to Neutral from Underperform in a recently issued research note.

Earlier Tuesday Goldman Sachs reduced its rating on ADTRAN Inc. (ADTN) stock to Neutral from Buy and assigned the price target to $20.

BofA analysts reduced their investment ratings, saying in research reports covered by the media that its rating for Altice USA Inc. (ATUS) has been changed to Underperform from Neutral and the new price target is set at $38.

Analysts at National Bank downgraded Canadian Pacific Railway Limited (CP)'s stock to Sector Perform from Outperform Tuesday.

Analysts expect Qualigen Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ:QLGN) to report a net income (adjusted) of -$0.13 per share, when the company releases its quarterly results shortly. Revenue for the fiscal quarter ended Jun 2021 is predicted to come in at $2M.

Take-Two Interactive Software Inc. (TTWO), due to announce earnings after the market closes today, is expected to report earnings of $0.67 per share from revenues of $664M recently concluded three-month period.
