The session on March 21 at the major US stock exchanges ended with a slight decline. The S&P 500 fell 0.04% to 4461 points, the Dow Jones corrected 0.58% and the Nasdaq shed 0.4%. The energy sector showed the most significant growth (+3.79%) against the backdrop of positive dynamics in oil prices. The worst performers were shares of cyclical consumer goods (-0.76%), telecoms (-0.67%) and real estate companies (-0.52%).Company news
Thoma Bravo acquires Anaplan ( PLAN : +27.6%) for $10.7 billion in cash. The deal is expected to close in the first half of 2022.
Berkshire Hathaway ( BRK . B : +2.12%) acquires Alleghany ( Y : +24.9%) for $11.6 billion. The deal is expected to close in the fourth quarter of this year.
A Boeing ( BA : -3.8%) model 737-800 NG operated by China Eastern Airlines ( CEA : -6.31%) crashed in Guangxi on March 21st.

Tesla Inc. (NASDAQ: TSLA) shares are trading up 1.44% at $934.47 at the time of writing after its German Gigafactory started handing over cars to customers Tuesday after nearly nine months of delay.

Helios Technologies Inc. (HLIO) has won the favor of Stifel's equity research team. The firm upgraded the shares from Hold to Buy and moved their price target to $95.00, suggesting 24.8% additional upside for the stock.
Cronos Group Inc. (CRON) received an upgrade from analysts at Barclays. They changed their rating on CRON to Equa-Weight from Underweight in a recently issued research note.
Earlier Tuesday Goldman Sachs reduced its rating on Philip Morris International Inc. (PM) stock to Neutral from Buy and assigned the price target to $100.00.
Morgan Stanley analysts reduced their investment ratings, saying in research reports covered by the media that its rating for Graphite Bio Inc. (GRPH) has been changed to Equal-weight from Overweight and the new price target is set at $18.00.
Analysts at B. Riley Securities downgraded Allena Pharmaceuticals Inc. (ALNA)'s stock to Neutral from Buy Tuesday.

Analysts expect Star Equity Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:STRR) to report a net income (adjusted) of $0.14 per share, when the company releases its quarterly results shortly. Revenue for the fiscal quarter ended Dec 2021 is predicted to come in at $27.77M.
Science 37 Holdings Inc. (SNCE), due to announce earnings before the market opens today, is expected to report earnings of -$0.21 per share from revenues of $14.78M recently concluded three-month period.
