On May 26, the main US stock markets ended in the green zone. The S&P 500 rose 1.99% to close at 4,058. The Nasdaq and Dow Jones indexes added 2.68% and 1.61% respectively. 10 out of 11 sectors in the S&P 500 closed in positive territory. Manufacturers of cyclical consumer goods (+4.78%) and technology companies (+2.45%) looked the best.Company news

  • Dollar Tree (DLTR: +21.9%) Q1, earnings, revenues and margins beat consensus expectations, with full-year EPS and revenue guidance raised.

  • Alibaba Group (BABA: +14.8%) reported the slowest quarterly revenue growth since anti-COVID restrictions came into effect in China. Revenue and EBITDA for the fourth fiscal quarter were able to exceed analysts' expectations, but the issuer refused to provide guidance for the full year.

  • Elon Musk has committed an additional $6.25 billion to finance the acquisition of Twitter (TWTR: +6.4%), bringing the businessman's total liabilities to $33.5 billion. Tesla stock margin loans have also been announced to expire.

Adicet Bio Inc. (ACET) stock soared 18.03% to $12.11 in the pre-market trading. The company recently reported positive clinical update from ADI-001 phase 1 trial in Relapsed/Refractory Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (NHL).

Dell Technologies Inc. (DELL) shares are trading up 12.38% at $49.37 at the time of writing after posting record quarterly results.

Marvell Technology Inc. (MRVL) grew over 5.28% at $60.0 in pre-market trading today. The company reported $1.447 billion net revenue in Q1, an increase of 74% year-on-year.

Oncternal Therapeutics Inc. (ONCT), a Biotechnology company, rose about 7.47% at $0.88 in pre-market trading Friday after announcing updated interim clinical data from the ongoing Phase 1/2 CIRLL clinical trial.

Needham turned bullish on Boston Scientific Corporation (BSX), upgrading the stock to "Buy" and assigning a $48.00 price target, representing potential upside of 19.52% from Thursday's close.

Graphic Packaging Holding Company (GPK) has won the favor of BMO Capital's equity research team. The firm upgraded the shares from Market Perform to Outperform and moved their price target to $25.00, suggesting 16.5% additional upside for the stock.

Roku Inc. (ROKU) received an upgrade from analysts at Pivotal Research, who also set their one-year price target on the stock to $80.00. They changed their rating on ROKU to Hold from Sell in a recently issued research note.

Earlier Friday Bernstein reduced its rating on CVS Health Corporation (CVS) stock to Market Perform from Outperform and assigned the price target to $112.00.

Bernstein analysts reduced their investment ratings, saying in research reports covered by the media that its rating for UnitedHealth Group Incorporated (UNH) has been changed to Market Perform from Outperform and the new price target is set at $561.00.

Analysts at Needham downgraded Medtronic plc (MDT)'s stock to Hold from Buy Friday.

Analysts expect Canopy Growth Corporation (NASDAQ: CGC) to report a net income (adjusted) of -$0.25 per share when the company releases its quarterly results shortly. Revenue for the fiscal quarter ended Mar 2022 is predicted to come in at $102M.

Hibbett Inc. (HIBB), due to announce earnings before the market opens today, is expected to report earnings of $3.08 per share from revenues of $427.66M recently concluded three-month period.
