Last week, US indices moved back to new all-time highs. The Nasdaq has now broken out clearly upward, leaving a sideways period of more than four months. On Friday, the technology exchange took it easy, with a loss of 0.06% at 14,360 points. The S&P 500 was up 0.33% and ended at 4,280 points. Investors seem to have put aside fears of higher inflation and the associated tighter monetary policy for the time being. The market also appeared to be responding positively to Biden's new infrastructure deal, which was approved by a group of US senators.More action can be expected next week, including the American jobs report on Friday. The development of the labor market is well monitored by the Federal Reserve, which has also set targets for unemployment. Economists estimate that the number of jobs rose by 683,000 in June. Investors are also looking closely at wage growth, especially as employers struggle to find workers for their job openings and unemployment benefits are declining in some states. On Wednesday, payslip processor ABP will present the preliminary jobs report and purchasing manager figures are also on the agenda.

Intellia and Regeneron recently declared Landmark clinical data showing deep reduction in disease-causing protein after single infusion of NTLA-2001, an Investigational CRISPR Therapy for Transthyretin (ATTR) Amyloidosis.

Mexco Energy Corporation (AMEX: MXC) shares are trading up 18.53% at $10.68 at the time of writing after releasing financial results for fiscal 2021.

Marin Software Incorporated (MRIN) grew over 8.66% at $4.14 in pre-market trading today. The company recently reported that it has added the ability to manage Instacart Ads to its flagship MarinOne platform.

Stifel turned bullish on Nektar Therapeutics (NKTR), upgrading the stock to "Buy" and assigning a $24 price target.

The Macerich Company (MAC) has won the favor of Deutsche Bank's equity research team. The firm upgraded the shares from Hold to Buy with a price target of $24.

International Paper Company (IP) received an upgrade from analysts at Stephens, who also set their one-year price target on the stock to $80.00. They changed their rating on IP to Overweight from Equal Weight in a recently issued research note.

JPMorgan analysts reduced their investment ratings, saying in research reports covered by the media that its rating for Global Blood Therapeutics, Inc. (GBT) has been changed to Neutral from Overweight with a price target of $36.00.

Analysts at Barclays downgraded Wix.com Ltd. (WIX)'s stock to Equal Weight from Overweight Monday.
