Don't Miss these Red-Hot Stocks
Good Morning!
It's getting a bit monotonous, but Wall Street hit another all-time high. The S&P 500 rose 0.03% and closed at 4,291 points. Strongest share in the broad stock index was Skyworks Solutions. The technology exchange Nasdaq 100 closed 0.19% higher at 14,528 points and the old Dow Jones closed 0.03% higher like the S&P 500. In the Nasdaq, Pinduoduo stood out with an increase of almost 7%. The Dow had a closing price of 34,292 points and Nike was the strongest of the stock pack there with a green 2.3% on the boards. Furthermore, a two-day meeting on the global minimum tax will start today. 140 countries will participate and this will be a harbinger of the G20 meeting.OPEC+ started the long-awaited meeting yesterday to determine how quickly and how strongly oil production should be increased. First and foremost, OPEC+s stated that oil demand has improved significantly in recent months. This undeniably translates into a decline in US oil inventories. Since early 2021, oil inventories have been reduced by more than 37 million barrels. OPEC+ has extended the meeting by one day to reach a consensus as Russia and Saudi Arabia are again diametrically opposed. Russia wants to increase production quickly, while the Arab country would rather see a moderate increase. Wall Street expects an increase of 550,000 barrels a day. At the same time, oil is on a remarkable rally. It has been the best six months for oil prices in more than 15 years. Light Sweet Crude Oil is trading at around $73.50 and the other major oil price index, Brent, is trading at $74.50.
