Yesterday, US markets were closed in observance of Memorial Day. Futures traded and moved significantly higher. Compared to yesterday, New York futures are about 0.5% lower, but that is slightly higher than Friday's regular close. The big question that will keep investors busy in the near future is whether we have seen the bottom yet. Or that the recent recovery is a typical bear market rally.In the US this afternoon we will look at, among other things, American consumer confidence. Meanwhile, investors are mainly looking forward to US unemployment figures. These provide insight into the impact of high inflation and rising interest rates on the labor market.

TherapeuticsMD Inc. (TXMD) stock soared 345.79% to $9.54 in the pre-market trading after announcing that it has entered into a definitive merger agreement to be acquired by an affiliate of EW Healthcare Partners.

Yamana Gold Inc. (NYSE: AUY) shares are trading up 16.05% at $6.0 at the time of writing. The company reported a definitive agreement with Gold Fields Limited, under which Gold Fields will acquire all of the outstanding common shares of Yamana pursuant to a plan of arrangement.

CatchMark Timber Trust Inc. (CTT) grew over 24.1% at $10.3 in pre-market trading today following the declaration of a definitive agreement with PotlatchDeltic Corporation (PCH), to combine in an all-stock transaction.

Imperial Petroleum Inc. (IMPP), a Oil & Gas E&P company, rose about 13.34% at $0.6211 in pre-market trading Tuesday. The company recently reported the acquisition of two Suezmax Tankers.

Top Upgrades & Downgrades

Bernstein turned bullish on Grab Holdings Limited (GRAB), upgrading the stock to Outperform and assigning a $3.04 price target, representing potential upside of 26.14% from Monday's close.

NuStar Energy L.P. (NS) has won the favor of Wells Fargo's equity research team. The firm upgraded the shares from Equal-Weight to Overweight and moved their price target to $18.00, suggesting 12.36% additional upside for the stock.

Mercury Systems Inc. (MRCY) received an upgrade from analysts at Baird, who also set their one-year price target on the stock to $72.00. They changed their rating on MRCY to Outperform from Neutral in a recently issued research note.

Earlier Tuesday Goldman Sachs reduced its rating on Steel Dynamics Inc. (STLD) stock to Neutral from Buy and assigned the price target to $92.00.

Morgan Stanley analysts reduced their investment ratings, saying in research reports covered by the media that its rating for American Eagle Outfitters Inc. (AEO) has been changed to Underweight from Equal-Weight and the new price target is set at $8.00.

Analysts at Jefferies downgraded PubMatic Inc. (PUBM)'s stock to Hold from Buy Tuesday.

Analysts expect Seanergy Maritime Holdings Corp. (NASDAQ: SHIP) to report a net income (adjusted) of $0.02 per share when the company releases its quarterly results shortly. Revenue for the fiscal quarter ended Mar 2022 is predicted to come in at $28.43M.

Kirkland's Inc. (KIRK), due to announce earnings before the market opens today, is expected to report earnings of -$0.28 per share from revenues of $108.01M recently concluded three-month period.
