Early Morning Vibes: Watch These 4 Stocks Today

US stocks took a step back on Tuesday. The S&P 500 breaks off the 7-day win streak, but the recovery was strong towards the close. US indices were initially down nearly one percent, but the broad-based index closed just 0.20% lower at 4,343 points. The Nasdaq Composite even managed to squeeze a gain of 0.17% at a position of 14,663 points.A striking dichotomy was visible in the financial markets. Stocks that will benefit greatly from further economic recovery, such as Caterpillar, Chevron and JPMorgan Chase, were under pressure. A number of technological heavyweights could count on a lot of interest. Amazon.com was up a whopping 4.78%, Zoom by 3.11% and Netflix was up 1.36%. Alphabet(+0.90%) and Apple(+1.46%) also showed nice pluses.Energy stocks and commodities took a hit. The oil price fell sharply after reaching its highest level in six years the day before. Other commodities were also sold, only gold showed a plus. Yields on a 10-year US Treasury bond fell 7.2 basis points to 1.36%, indicating investors may be anticipating slower economic growth.

Opiant Pharmaceuticals Inc. (OPNT) stock soared 42.74% to $18.96 in the pre-market trading after declaring positive top-line results of Confirmatory Pharmacokinetic (PK) study for OPNT003, Nasal Nalmefene, a novel investigational treatment for Opioid Overdose.

OncoSec Medical Incorporated (NASDAQ: ONCS) shares are trading up 34.41% at $3.75 at the time of writing. The company reported a collaboration agreement with Merck for a pivotal global phase 3 study, KEYNOTE-C87, of TAVO combined with KEYTRUDA for Late-Stage Metastatic Melanoma.

Data Storage Corporation (DTST) grew over 58.98% at $11.59 in pre-market trading today.

Dare Bioscience Inc. (DARE), a Biotechnology company, rose about 30.26% at $1.98 in pre-market trading Wednesday.

Top Upgrades & Downgrades

BofA turned bullish on SAP SE (SAP), upgrading the stock to "Buy" from Underperform.

Sunnova Energy International Inc. (NOVA) has won the favor of Raymond James' equity research team. The firm upgraded the shares from Outperform to Strong Buy and moved their price target to $50.00.

TopBuild Corp. (BLD) received an upgrade from analysts at JPMorgan, who also set their one-year price target on the stock to $223.00. They changed their rating on BLD to Neutral from Underweight in a recently issued research note.

Earlier Wednesday Barclays reduced its rating on Phibro Animal Health Corporation (PAHC) stock to Underweight from Equal Weight with a price target of $23.

Laidlaw analysts reduced their investment ratings, saying in research reports covered by the media that its rating for Taiwan Liposome Company, Ltd. (TLC) has been changed to Hold from Buy.

Analysts at Scotiabank downgraded Banco Santander-Chile (BSAC)'s stock to Sector Perform from Outperform Wednesday.
