Good Morning!

Friday morning saw a cautious start for stock futures as investors shifted their attention from the highly anticipated Federal Reserve policy meeting to the upcoming release of key economic data.Futures tied to the Dow Jones Industrial Average experienced a slight decline of 12 points, equivalent to 0.3%. Similarly, S&P 500 futures and Nasdaq-100 futures also traded down by 0.07% and 0.09% respectively, hinting at a cautious sentiment in the market. However, amid this backdrop, there were notable surges in specific stocks that caught investors' attention. Virgin Galactic shares took off with remarkable momentum, soaring over 40% during extended trading. The surge followed the exciting announcement of the company's first commercial space tourism flight, scheduled for the end of this month. Another standout performer was Adobe, which witnessed a significant increase of more than 3% after surpassing Wall Street estimates in both top and bottom lines for its fiscal second quarter. The technology company also shared positive expectations for the current quarter and full-year performance, further fueling investor optimism. These market moves followed a triumphant session on Wall Street, where investors took a bullish stance on interest rate hikes coming to a halt. The Federal Reserve's decision not to increase rates at its recent meeting provided reassurance, prompting all three major indexes to finish Thursday's session with gains exceeding 1%. This marked the sixth consecutive day of wins for both the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite. For the S&P 500, this winning streak represents its longest stretch since November 2021.Looking ahead to the remaining trading session on Friday, the three indexes appear poised for weekly gains, building upon the recent market rally. The S&P 500 is on track to achieve its best weekly performance since March, with an impressive gain of nearly 3%. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq Composite has already surged by almost 4% since the beginning of the week, positioning itself for an eighth consecutive winning week. This notable streak for the tech-heavy index marks its longest weekly stretch since a 10-week period that concluded in March 2019.
