Stocks edged lower on Wednesday, pressured by declines in tech shares, as traders remained concerned about the uncertainty surrounding tariffs.
As of 11:25 AM ET, the Dow was up 62.26 points, or 0.14619%, at $42649.76. The Nasdaq Composite lost -208.416 points, or -1.0273%, at $20079.41. The S&P 500 declined -29.38 points, or -0.5086%, at $5747.27. Among the 11 major S&P 500 sectors, 7 showed negative movement, with Consumer Cyclical leading the way with a 0.88% decrease.
